DePicklefy
A playful experiment in reshaping sound in real time.
DePicklefy was created during a music hackathon, where our team had two days to explore new ways of interacting with sound.
The challenge was to create something that could transform the character of an instrument in real time, without relying on pre-trained models or heavy processing.
I led the design and creative direction, working closely with my teammate, who engineered the audio system. I also played violin as part of the final demonstration, using the instrument to show how the experience could transform familiar sounds into something unexpected.
The result was intentionally experimental and a little weird: a playful tool for exploring how small changes in sound can completely alter the character of an instrument.
