SQLite Cloud is a service that enables remote storage, synchronization, and management of SQLite databases across devices.
At Babco, I worked on its brand development, as well as designing the marketing site, Design system and main application interface.
For SQLite Cloud, we developed a brand that feels as lightweight and effortless as the service itself. Moving away from the heavy, dark themes common in developer tools, we focused on a softer, more approachable aesthetic. Feathers and cloud motifs, paired with a light blue palette and subtle highlights, create a sense of ease and fluidity—mirroring the seamless workflow SQLite Cloud enables.
The interface makes database management intuitive, allowing users to access, review, and modify entries without writing complex queries. Every design choice reinforces the idea of simplicity—keeping interactions lightweight and reducing friction for both experienced developers and those less familiar with SQL.
Designed with SQL developers in mind, the marketing site sets SQLite Cloud apart from traditional platforms. Instead of the usual technical, heavy feel, we aimed for something calm, clear, and inviting. The result is a site that makes implementation feel effortless while still speaking to the power of the platform.
